Dvorkovich explains why Belarus has not paid for Russian gas
Belarus has not wired money for the supplied Russian gas, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich is quoted by interfax.by as saying.
According to Dvorkovich, the agreements between Belarus and Russia "on some other topics" are yet to be signed. Money transfers for Russian gas is tied to the signing of those agreements. Dvorkovich elucidated that the documents are yet to pass the approval of the government.
The Russian DPM said Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Belarus in October 27 to discuss among other issues on the agenda the payment for the Russian natural gas supplies.
