Estonian diplomat Harry Lahtein calls the sex scandal a provocation
Harry Lahtein, the Charge D'Affaires of the Estonian Embassy in Belarus, calls the sex scandal he has been involved into, a provocation. He refuses to give any further comments, informs “Belarusian Partisan”. However, he had to resign from his position. The scandal took place a month before the end of his mission in Minsk.
Thus, the aims of the author of the discreditable letter with the pictures remain unclear, as Lahtein was about to leave Belarus in any case, and another diplomat was to substitute him here.
Alongside with that, the Estonian media found out that Harrн Lahtein knew the people at the pictures. However, these people have nothing to do with the author of the letter. Estonian experts consider that a person who used to work in the Defense Police should have been more careful.
