Estonian government approves flu vaccination for all citizens
The government of Estonia on January 7 passed a resolution which encisages A/H1N1 flu vaccination for all citizens of the country. The Interfax news agency reports that risk groups, persons younger than 18 years and pensioners will be given the vaccine free of charge. All the rest will be charged by family doctors with 67 krons (over 4 dollars).
The country's department for healthcare forecasts that a new wave of flu in Estonia will begin in late January and early February. 13 deaths from 'swine flu' have been registered as of now, with a total of 808 'swine flu' cases registered in the country.
