European Commission works out 5-year plan for Belarus
The European Commission has worked out a five-year joint intermediate plan for Belarus. It suggests a new format of cooperation between the EU and Minsk. Newsland portal informs about it. The document consisting of 20 pages enumerates reforms and obligations. Belarus should realize them in the next 3 or 5 years to enter a new level of relations with the EU, informs a representative of the European Commission.
According to the European official, the EU would like to offer the plan to Minsk after the presidential elections if they are conducted “without violations of democratic rights”.
