Experts present White Book to help Belarus join Bologna Process
The book focuses on a greater academic, personnel and organizational freedom for universities.
The authors have analysed the current state of the higher education in Belarus and suggested changes to make it closer to the education in Europe. One of the authors, member of the Civil Bologna Committee Uladzimir Dunayeu, said:
Dunayeu: “There are a lot of proofs of low quality of the higher education in Belarus. The World Bank’s report also testifies to it. It is necessary to find models for rebuilding the higher education system. The European experience in this field is valuable.”
The authors also suggested changed to the Education Code.
The book is available at bolognaby.org. It will be sent to the Ministry of Education alongside with experts’ other groundwork.
