Fake Femen activist turns out to be a man, goes on trial in Russia
Russian Gennadiy Pushkarev tried to organize "extremist" activity in Murmansk.
According to RIA Novosti, the man contacted the Femen representative in Russia and then created a fake page in the "Vkontakte.ru" social network in the name of Karina Pankova. He announced opening of Femen branch in Zapolyarye and even published a price-list for holding actions against the Russian orthodox church.
For example, he offered 6 thousand Russian roubles for sowing down a cross. Pushkarev imitated a woman's voice when he spoke with the journalists so that everyone would believe that Karina Pankova truly existed.
The man is accused of making public calls for extremism. The case has been sent to court.
