Who are Belarusian musicians getting millions of streams on Spotify?
How were Belarusian musicians doing on Spotify in 2024?
At the beginning of December, Spotify presented each user with personalized year-end results, including the most played songs and artists. But the results are not just for listeners - the service also produces individual statistics for musicians.
Euroradio decided to find out how Belarusian artists are doing and how many streams they have collected over the year.
Some of them shared their statistics on social networks, others we checked directly. So who is the winner?
Molchat Doma
Perhaps the most popular Belarusian band with a huge foreign audience is Molchat Doma: according to the results of 2024, it has 138 million streams from 189 countries on Spotify.
The artist had 54 million streams on Spotify in 2024. And he is listened to by people in 181 countries around the world.

The band was founded in 2016 in Minsk. The band members are inspired by the gray environment and general boredom. According to the musicians, they do not play pure postpunk, but mix it with different styles.
In 2024, the talented performer had 9.32 thousand streams in 69 countries.
Addiction Loop
The legendary Minsk post-punk band Addiction Loop, which released a Belarusian-language album in October, managed to collect more than one million streams on Spotify last year.
After the release of the latest album, a barrage of criticism from Russian fans fell on the musicians. The haters wrote that the band had "betrayed a part of its listeners" by translating the band's lyrics into "a language understood mainly by one and a half people". To which the artists rightly replied that they are a Belarusian band.
Lavon Volski
The legend of the Belarusian rock scene in 2024 shows very decent numbers on streaming platforms. On Spotify, Volski has 763,000 streams in 161 countries.
Lavon Volski actively gives concerts, tours European countries and continues to please Belarusians with his timeless hits and novelties.
NOCHY
Belarusian indie-pop band NOCHY, which combines electro-pop and folk music, collected 136 thousand streams on Spotify last year.
Now the band gives concerts in Europe, and recently the musicians rocked at the Belarusian festival in Warsaw called "Varushniak".
