Belarusian wanted in Poland for working for foreign intelligence and terrorism
Yury Vorsa
Police in Poland have put 32-year-old Belarusian Yury Vorsa on the wanted list. He is suspected of working for foreign intelligence services, terrorist crimes and participation in an organized group.
According to the publication "Agency", in May 2024 Vorsa was captured on a Reuters photo, taken on the front line in the Kharkiv region. In October this year, he was declared wanted in Poland.
Vorsa is reported to have been in trouble with the law since the age of 17. He was regularly fined for drunken brawls and debauchery. Twice he was charged with beating a man, but as far as we know he was only sentenced once - to 200 hours of community service. In 2015, Vorsa and his companions were suspected of breaking into another home, beating the owner and stealing $600 worth of items. After another drunken brawl in 2019, he was barred from leaving the country for nearly a year.
There is a possibility that Vorsa is associated with neo-Nazis: the name of his VK page contains the numbers "1488" (one of the neo-Nazi symbols).
In August 2020, Vorsa was sentenced to 15 days in prison for participating in political protests. In October of the same year, he was added to the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Riot". He left Belarus in the fall of 2021.
In Poland, Vorsa was put on the wanted list shortly before the arrest of a gang involved in sending parcels containing explosives. The nationalities of the four detainees were not disclosed at the time. However, media reports indicated that others may have been involved in the crimes.
