A famous Russian human rights activist and the head of Moscow Helsinki Group Lyudmila Alekseyeva has supported a Belarusian producer Yury Hashchavatski in an interview with Euroradio. Alekseyeva: “Citizens should get used to making videos about the cases demonstrating how we live with their cell phones and simple cameras! This is our reality. It is the reality shown “by the box” (TV. – ERB.), the reality they want to demonstrate. This is how we see it. This is the life we know”.
According to her, even low quality uploaded videos will be watched by a great number of people and it may make officials think about it and not to commit crimes.
