Famous singer Muslim Magomayev dies at 66
A famous singer Muslim Magomayev has died after a long illness at the age of 66. Born in Azerbaijan, he won recognition all over the Soviet Union and received the title of a people’s artist in his country. Magomaey had more than 600 songs in his repertoire and was the author of 20 of them. A planetoid of the Solar system was named after him in 1997.
