Flood in Minsk (in pictures)
As a result of the heavy rain in Minsk that started at about 9 p.m. and finished at 10.30 p.m. on July 24 a number of thoroughfares got flooded and the public transport was stopped. The greatest floods were in Nyamiha Street where the water reached the St. Pyotr and Paul Church having flooded the nearest bus stop.
The rain stopped transport in Dzyarzhybski thoroughfare under the railway bridges, in Zhukau avenue, Shaganhovicha Street, in Kuibyshava Street near the Kamarouski Market and in a number of other streets.
