Football: FC Minsk reach Europa League play-offs! (video)
The third qualifying round was played on Thursday in Perth, Scotland. Penalty kicks decided the destiny of the game.
A week ago, FC Minsk lost to St.Johnstone 0:1 in Hrodna.
Vadzim Skrypchanka's team managed to win with the same score away - 1:0. 24-year-old Serbian legionery Milos Rnic scored for FC Minsk at the 75th minute. No goals were scored during the additional time.
The penalty kicks decided the destiny of the game - the Minskers were better in that. Vasliyuk scored, Makei didn't, Bushma saved! Razin scored, Cregg missed! Svyarchynski - 3:0, but Fallon was exact - 3:1. Kibuk missed (the goalkeeper saved), while Edwards scored - 3:2. Kazeka missed (the goalkeeper saved), but McLean also missed (Bushma saved!) - 3:2! Victory!
FC Minsk played in the following squad: Bushma, Svyarchynski, Sasnouski (captain), Rnic, Bukatkin (Kazeka 77), Harbushyn (Razin, 54), Byahunou, Vasilyuk, Maeuski (Makas, 72), Kibuk. Sasnouski was sent off after the second yellow card at the 120th minute.
The drawing of the Europa League play-offs will take place on Friday and the next rivals of FC Minsk will be defined.
