Football hooligan punished for fight on Minsk-Brest train
He got 5 days of detention. The Ivatsevichy district court made such decision in the morning on May 13.
The incident between the fans of Dynama Minsk and Dynama Brest football teams happened at night on May 12.
According to the information provided by the website tomin.by, the police knew about the fans' conflict moods and monitored the situation. 17 football fans took a train in Byaroza, one of them was running around the carriages urging the others to start fighting. The police took him off the train at about 20.30 in Ivatsevichy.
The police deny there was a fight in the train. They also deny that on of the passengers was evacuated because of the tear gas. Meanwhile, Euroradio has learnt about the fight and the passenger's evacuation from an eye-witness of the events.
