Former KGB chief Vadzim Zaitsau appointed as CosmosTV CEO
Ex-KGB chairman Vadzim Zaitsau resurfaces as a newly appointed CEO at TV cable network operator CosmosTV.
The information about Vadzim Zaitsau's appointment as General Director has appeared on the company's website. The statement on the website also says the new governing bodies have been set up in the company: the Supervisory Council and the Directorate, under the new statute of the CosmosTV company. The statute was adopted just recently - on June 10.
Vadzim Zaistau headed the KGB for more than four years. He was dismissed by the president and sent to retirement after an inquiry into the death of a KGB officer. Until recently, he has served as the chairman of the Bialthlon Federation of Belarus.
