Free Kozulin! bikers detained in Navapolatsk
Several participants of the bike race titled "Free Kozulin!" on Friday were detained by police already at the beginnig of the action, reports Radio Svaboda.
In the morning, when bikers gathered in the center of the city, police and plainclothes agents came up and said they were to confiscate the bikes because they had no registration plates.
As a result, Yury Belski, Anton Yasinovich, Igar Sukharukau, Valery Shauchenka and Albert Markau ended up in custody.
The action participants wanted to ride their bikes for two days in Plack district of the Vitsebsk region, wearing T-shirts that said "Free Kozulin!". The action aimed to inform the region's population about the issue of political prisoners in Belarus.
