Freestyle stars Tsuper, Hryshyn end sporting careers
Olympic champion Anla Tsuper's decision to quit sports is influenced by pregnancy. However, she may reconsider it, her coach reckons.
Olympic champions Ala Tsuper and Alyaksei Hryshyn have finished their careers, Belarus national team chief manager Mikalai Kazeka said.
Hryshyn has made the right decision, the coach reckons. The sportsman won a bronze medal at the Olympics-2002 in Salt Lake City and a gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010.
However, Kazeka does not know whether Ala Tsuper has quit for good. The freestyler wanted to take part in the world championship. However, she is pregnant again and has stopped training. Ala Tsuper came back to sport after giving birth to her daughter in 2012 and became the Olympic champion in ski aerials in 2014.
