Gazprom, Naftagaz sign gas deal

Gazprom and Naftogaz executives on Monday in Moscow signed an agreement on the supplies of natural gas to Ukraine and the transit to Europe. The ceremony took place in presence of Russian and Ukrainian PMs Vladimir Putin and Yulia Tymoshenko. According to Gazeta.ru, Vladimir Putin, talking live on the Russian television, expressed regret over the sufferings of the gas crisis victims and noted that Russia and Ukraine were switching to a market pricing formula for gas.
