German pilots refuse to use Airbus A320

Germanwings and Lufthansa pilots are refusing to use the planes Airbus A320 after the yesterday’s crash in the south of France, Spiegel reports. Some flights have really been cancelled.

The reason for the crash that killed 150 people who were heading for Dusseldorf from Barcelona has not been announced yet. The authorities are not considering the possibility of a terrorist act and think that there were unlikely to be any technical issues either because the plane had been checked a day before the tragedy. However, the plane was one of the oldest A320 – it was produced in 1990. One of the flight recorders was found yesterday. It may help find out the reason for the crash.

The line got off the course before the crash. It is not clear why it happened. The airplane started going down rapidly and then slowed down. Aircraft decompression started on board, exports believe. The pilots probably wanted to land in the nearest airport, newsru.com reports.
