Germany promises tor render assistance to Belarusian civil community

Germany will allocate 6.6 million euro to the Belarusian civil community in 2011. BelaPAN refers to the press service of the German Foreign Office and informs that the money will be used for scholarships, educational projects for journalists and democracy and legal state system development projects.

Furthermore, Belarusian students and scientists will be able to get national German visas for free. The Federal government of Germany also supports the idea of lowering the cost of Schengen visas for Belarusians.
