"Hazeta Slonіmskaya" finds office to accept subscription and advertisements
An independent newspaper “Hazeta Slonomsakya” continues its existence in spite of the problems created by the local authorities. Let us remind you that the edition was deprived of its office it had been renting in the centre of the city this year. Journalists have to work at home now.
This is what the editor-in-chief and publisher of “Hazeta Slonomskaya” Victar Valadashchuk said to ERB about the current situation:
"We continue printing the newspaper and we are still doing it in Minsk. Readers get their “Hazeta Slonimskaya” every Wednesday. The problem is we still do not have any office for the editorial staff”.
However, according to Valadashchuk, there is good news too. “Hazeta Slonimskaya” has finally found an office to accept subscription and advertisements. The edition has bought a small pavilion in “Kosauski” market in Slonim for it.
Speaking about an office for the editorial staff Valadashchuk said that the newspaper could not accept the existing variants because of their high price. Offices the location and price of which suits the edition are not allowed to be bought by the independent newspaper.
