Investigation of “patriots’ case” is not over

The investigation of “the patriots’ case” (the White Legion case) will continue, head of the Investigation Committee press service Syarhei Kabakovich told Nasha Niva. The term of its investigation expired on September 21. The case could be closed or the investigation could be prolonged for another 6 months. The second variant has been chosen. The persons involved in the case have not been notified about this decision yet.

Several dozen people are involved in this case. They were detained in April 2017. They were accused of ‘preparation for mass riots' and of ‘creation of illegal armed units. All of them were released at the end of June.
