Kiev demands that Moscow stopped separatists
Battles near Donetsk started on the morning on June 3.
Ukrainian representatives from the Joint Control and Coordination Centre have demanded that Russia stopped separatists and made them to stop the attacks, head of the Ukrainian headquarters press centre Alexander Paranyuk told journalists.
Ukrainians consider militants’ actions ‘a provocation and cynical neglect of all the agreements’, RBK reports.
Ukrainian troops are using heavy arms now because they had to repulse the attacks of the so-called ‘DPR’ forces, press officer of the Ukrainian Army headquarters Aleksei Mazepa admitted. Militants also used heavy artillery, Grad systems, tanks and mortars.
Maryinka, the place of the most severe battles, in under Ukrainian troops’ control, Mazepa said.
