Lahvinets gave out newspapers, not registered due to ‘bribery of voters'
One of the leaders of the Movement for Freedom, Ales Lahvinets, has not been registered at the parliamentary election. He wanted to run for MP in Minsk constituency #101. The information appeared on Monday, August 8. Two warnings were pronounced to Lahvinets’ initiative group – for the picket with white-red-white flags on the bridge over Minsk ring road and for Lyavon Volski’s concert in Suharava (in the photo). The CEC considered the concert to be part of agitation (agitation is not allowed during signature collection campaigns – Euroradio).

"They accused me of bribery of voters because Narodnaya Volya was available for free at the picket. And my business cards were given out. However, there were no appeals to vote for me on those cards,” Ales Lahvinets told Euroradio.
The politician does not exclude that he may urge voters to boycott the election in constituency #101. The registration refusal was ‘politically motivated’, Lahvinets believes.
