Latvia urges Belarus to abolish “golden share”

Latvia urges Belarus to refuse the state’s right to use “the golden share” if it participates in the administration of the work of an enterprise.
The Latvian Ambassador to our country Maira Mora claimed that “the golden share” impeded investments in Belarus. The announcement was made at the third Belarusian-Latvian investment forum in Riga. At the same time she mentioned the great interest of Latvian investors in privatization in Belarus.
