Local elections and Donets Basin’s special status to be discussed din Minsk
The subgroups and the Contact Group on Donets Basin will meet in Minsk on Tuesday, October 6.
The delegation of the so-called ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ is planning to discuss the law on amnesty, organization of the local elections and the region’s special status, TASS refers to ‘DPR’ representative in the contact group Denis Pushylin.
The restoration of strategical railway stages, power supply along the front line and mine clearing of the water supply system on Yasinovka District will also be discussed at the meeting, he said.
A new round of negotiations of ‘the Norman Four’ was held in Paris on October 2. The negotiations were ‘rich’, the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said. The fulfillment of Minsk agreements including the removal of heavy artillery, the elections and amnesty were discussed there.
