Lukashenka to Austrians: we will take care of you
Aliaksandr Lukashenka offered to Austria to turn over a new page in relations and "move forward." On Tuesday, he met in Minsk with President of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Christoph Leitl and the first deputy chairman of the National Council of Austria, Karlheinz Kopf.
Lukashenka thanked the Austrians for investments and credit aid that had been provided during the modernization of Belarusian enterprises. The head of state noted that Belarus will welcome the Austrian business, BelTA reports.
"Is only one condition - that those who come here treat our people just as they are working in Austria. We are you going to protect you just like our Belarusian companies. We will take care of you, we will do everything for you to be comfortable. And the Austrian business should have the same honest attitude to our country, to our people," said Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
