Lukashenka proposes Europe to lift sanctions against Belarus
Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenka has proposed the European Union to abolish all the restrictions against Belarus.
He made this statement during a meeting with Ann-Marie Lizin, the head of the OSCE short-term election observance mission at the parliamentary polls in Belarus.
Lukashenka said that Europe had two reasons not to impose sanctions: Belarus's role in WWII and the Chernobyl tragedy.
