Lyabedzka and Shumchanka are released after 15 days of arrest
The head of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka and the leader of the republican civil association “Perspectyva” Anatol Shumchanka have been released from the confinement cell in Akrestsina Street. They were punished for participation in a protest action on January 10 and spent 15 days in detention. Radio Liberty informs that Lyabedzka and Shumchanka were released earlier than expected.
Their relatives and confederates think that the authorities did it in order to prevent a mass meeting of released prisoners.
