Mahiliou hockey players were recently sent to the field to collect stones. The club calls this work "special field training" as if they wanted to "diversify" the training process.
On Monday, players and coaches of HC "Mahiliou" went to Shklou district "almost in full force." They worked in the field of the enterprise Polykovichy. According to the club's press service, the enterprise director gave the hockey players memorable gifts and gloves even before they went to the field.
Even a strong wind did not prevent the young men from clearing three large fields of stones. Before they left for Mahiliou, they were given a meal.
Last summer, Torpedo-BelAZ players were sent to the fields to remove stones. They were unsuccessful in the championship.
The collection of stones in Belarus has been going on since March. Aliaksandr Lukashenka was very indignant about the fact that the fields were sown, but the rocks had not been removed before (he saw it from a helicopter). Military service members, students, officials, employees of enterprises, educational and cultural institutions, schoolchildren and even convicts were sent to the fields. And now, even athletes have joined in. A record "harvest" of stones is expected in Belarus.
