Makei comments on visa facilitation talks with EU

Belarus and the European Union continue talks over visa facilitation and readmission. Technical details are being discussed now, Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei told journalists on May 19.
The Belarusian MFA consular service consulted European structures a couple of months ago, the leader of Belarusian diplomats added. Belarus expressed its opinion about the current situation in the region including the influx of migrants in Europe and other challenges.
Constructive negotiations with the EU continue, Makei assured. “I am sure that we will move on to the practical part sooner or later,” he added.
