Man sets himself ablaze
A 47-year-old man died after setting himself on fire in Zhytkavichy, Homyel region, on July 27. As the Zhytkavichy District Prosecutor’s Office told BelaPAN, the
man doused himself with gasoline and ignited the substance in the
cellar of a residential building.
Rescuers were called to the scene after residents of the house
noticed smoke coming out of the cellar. The man had died by the time
the rescuers arrived.
