Man tries to burn himself near Minsk
The unsuccessful suicider suffered severe burns.
A 45-year-old man tried to commit suicide by self-immolation in the village near Minsk. The accident happened on the night of March 7 in the village of Aronava Slabada. Coal heaver of the Minskraytseplasetka doused himself with gasoline in an apartment house and set himself on fire.
As a result, he suffered 1-3 degree burns of the 90% of his body and was hospitalized, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Ministry reports. It is not reported what the reason for such act was.
About a year ago, in Vileika area, there was also an attempt at self-immolation: a 32-year-old woman had quarreled with her husband, and being drunk, doused herself with gasoline and set herself on fire. In her case the burns were only 10% of the body.
