Member of official trade union included in election committee instead of member of independent trade union

Representatives of all the parties that applied for membership have been included in Brest Region Election Committee. An employee of the Region Executive Committee Natallya Hryhoryeva has informed ERB about it: Hryhoryeva: “Four out of the eleven parties registered in Brest Province suggested their candidates to the election committee: the Liberal-Democratic Party, the United Civil Party, the Belarusian Communist Party and the Belarusian party of the left “Fair World”. All the four representatives have been included in the committee”.  

A representative of the official trade union has been preferred to Syarhei Vakulenka suggested by the independent Trade Union of Radio Electronic Industry Workers. Natallya Hruhoryeva has explained it by a great difference in the number of the trade unions’ members.
