Mihalevich does not see Belarus as EU member now
The presidential candidate claimed at during his speech on state TV on November 22. At the same time Mihalevich supports close contacts between Belarus and Europe and would like to simplify the visa regime for Belarusians and for foreigners arriving here.
The politician is for evolutional modernization of Belarus. Good conditions for small and medium enterprises are the basis of the country’s economic growth, he thinks. Big enterprises can be privatized only if there is a strategic investor. Ales Mihalevich does not promise to increase pensions without an economic basis to avoid inflation.
