Ministry of Finance expects to make 1 trillion roubles on transport fee
Deputy Minister of Finance Maksim Yermalovich said it in the House of Representatives on November 14.
They expect to get the money in 2014, the official said. The fee will be paid during official checkups, interfax.by reports.
Information about the new toll appeared a few days ago. Drivers will have to pay to be allowed to drive.
The toll will be paid by owners of registered cars, Yermalovich said. It will total 1-25 base amounts (the current base amount is 130 thousand roubles). The sum will depend on the size and weight of vehicles and the type of the owner – a physical or a legal entity.
