Minsk authorities to fight illegal overpricing

Raids aimed at revealing facts of illegal overpricing on the eve of Christmas holidays are being organized in Minsk. Employees of Minsk City Executive Committee are checking both shops and markets. Minsk officials are going to invite directors of markets at a meeting to inform them about the impossibility of price escalation on the eve of the holiday season at the end of the week. The head of Minsk City Executive Committee Mihail Paulau has charged the police and the tax inspectorate with the problem.
