Minsk city hall bans picket by Malady Front
The Minsk city authorities rejected an application filed by the activists of the Malady Front youth group, seeking to stage a picket on June 21 in Minsk in order to collect signatures against the abolishment of benefits. The application was signed by Andrus Ignatovich and Siarzuk Semianiuk.
The city hall justified the rejection by writing that "the picket would hamper pedestrians and the traffic at the crossing of Vera Khoruzheya and Kuybyshev Streets", reports the press service of the Party of the Belarusian Popular Front.
