Moldova begins electricity shipments to Belarus
The Moldova's hydro power plant, owned by the Russian company Inter RAO EES, has started shipments of electrical energy to Belarus, station's director Sergei Syskov told the Trans-Dniestr state television channel.
He noted that electricity tariffs for Belarus would amount to 4.5 cents per 1 kW/hour. The costs are likely to remain unchanged in 2008, reports RosBusinessConsulting.
