Monument to dandelion appears in Jūrmala
A three-meter bronze dandelion has “grown” in Jūrmala. The monument symbolizes light and kindness.
A contest for the best sketch of the project was started a year ago. According to the press service of Jūrmala city administration, the idea of a Russian sculptor Yegor Pototski was considred to be the most interesting. His bronze dandelion consists of numerous children’s palms.
