More than 100K signatures reported by Haidukevich headquarters
The nominating group has already started submitting signature sheets to the local commission.
According to head of the nominating group, Aleh Haydukevich, more than 100,000 signatures have been collected for the nomination of Syarhei Haidukevich as a presidential candidate from the LDP. On Friday, August 7, they started submitting the sheets to the territorial commissions.
"We have already begun to submit the sheets. In Minsk, there were collected 15 thousand signatures, in Vitsebsk region - 11 thousand. As of Friday, August 7, we had more than 100 thousand signatures. In general, we want to hand over to the CEC about 120 thousand of verified signatures? so that there would be no complaints," said Aleh Haydukevich in an interview with Euroradio.
Today, Viktar Tsyareshchanka also announced the collection of 100,000 signatures. The fact that the initiative group of Alyaksandr Lukashenka has handed over the necessary 100,000 signatures was made public by the CEC head Lidziya Yarmoshyna on July 31.
The collection of signatures for nomination of candidates for the presidency ends on August 21.
