Belarus PM sees little progress in economic development
Prime Minister Mkhail Myasnikovich says government officials are to blame for the lack of progress in economic development of Belarus.
The economic results of January-August 2014 could be much better but for the staff’s lack of pro-active actions, Mihail Myasnikovich believes. “The President and government have created all the necessary conditions but there is no good progress in the economy development,” BELTA quotes Myasnikovich.
The PM is worried about the staff problem in the Ministries and Regional Executive Committees. “A number of heads of District Executive Committees are helpless. Everyone is waiting for some directions, they want to be told what to do,” Mihail Myasnikovich said.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has also mentioned the necessity of improving the executive discipline today (see the video below).
