No deal signed yet by Belarus, Russia on construction of nuclear power plant
An inter-government agreement on the construction of a nuclear power plant between Belarus and Russia is to be drafted, approved and signed this year, Russia's Atomstroiexport told the European Radio for Belarus.
“We have posted on our web site that this agreement is being prepared for signing. This is our official information", Atomstroiexport's press office said.
The Russian company will become a major contractor to build a nuclear power station in Belarus, our country's first deputy prime minister Uladzimir Syamashka said during the talks with Rosatom, Russia's nuclear power agency.
