Number of victims of car accidents increases by half in Minsk

22 people have died in car accidents in Minsk since the beginning of 2008, has informed the driving inspectorate today, on June 21. 14 people died in the same period of the last year. Thus, this death toll has increased by 57% in the capital.

The number of injured has dropped from 394 to 372 and the number of car accidents that involved victims has dropped from 339 to 330. At the same time, the number of accidents caused by drunken drivers has increased from 26 to 31.
