Official: Belarus's negative trade balance estimated at $2bn in 2007
The country's negative foreign trade balance will reach over $2 billion in 2007, Belarus's Economy Minister Mikalay Zaychanka estimates in his forecast. He says that the amount of $2 billion corresponds to 4.8 percent of GDP what "is lower than the critical mimimum of economic security". Zaychanka noted that the negative foreign trade balance would be reduced down to $1.4 billion next year, reports Interfax.
