Official: The number of unitary enterprises is on the rise

The number of individual entrepreneurs that have applied for re-registration into unitary enterprises is gradually growing, Belarus deputy economy minister Andrei Tur said in a statement.   "Two weeks ago, we had 169 registered unitary enterprises. As of today, the number has reached over 400. 530 applications more are currently under study," he added.

The simplified re-registration procedure will be effective through November 10.
