Local election: One in three voters vote early at polling station in Minsk

Almost one third of voters have already cast their ballots at the polling station No 36 located in Minsk State Linguistic University's Dormitory No 1, the human rights website Viasna reports.

Out of 662 voters that have already cast ballots there, 539 people voted on the first day of early voting, observer Alyaksei Loika reports. The overwhelming majority of the voters are students. 

This polling station has 2300 registered voters. It means that 28.7% of the voters cast their ballots in the first two days of the early vote.
