Opposition activist gets $300 fine for 2000 copies of independent newspaper in Dragichyn
Uladzimir Kazeka, the chairman of the local branch of the Belarusian Popular Front in Dragichyn (Brest region), was fined with Br700,000 for keeping around 2000 copies of the independent newspaper Here and Now. On October 31, police agents raided Kazeka's house and seized the copies of the newspaper, reports Charter-97 human rights group.
