OSCE election observers arrive in Belarus
The first three representatives of the OSCE election monitoring mission arrived in Belarus on July 29, the OSCE Office in Minsk said in a statement.
They are to deal with technical issues in order to prepare ground for the operation of long-term and short-term observers from OSCE.
At least 40 long-term observers are expected to arrive in Belarus on August 17-18. Besides, several days ahead of the parliamentary elections in Belarus, OSCE will send a team of 300 short-term observers to monitor the parliamentary elections in this country, reports Belapan.
