Pickets in support of Andrey Klimau prepared in Minsk
An appeal for pickets in support of an opposition politician Andrey Klimau planned for May 21-22 has been sent to Minsk City Executive Committee. The first picket is planned to take place near the city Office of Public Prosecutor while the second one is to be organized near confinement cell #1. Let us remind you that Klimau was arrested in Minsk on April 3. He is accused of appeals to throw down or change the existing constitutional order.
The reason for the arrest was the politician’s articles published on the web site of the UCP. Andrey Klimau may be sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment.
