Investigators interrogate crashed Su-25 pilot
A Belarus Air Force jet Su-25 crashed near Lida on September 30 after the pilot lost control and ejected safely (photo+video).
Nothing was destroyed and nobody died in the crash. A group of military investigators headed for the crash site. A criminal case was started. The Ministry of Defence has suspended SU-25 flights until the reason for the crash is revealed.
The pilot has been in hospital since yesterday. Investigators have interrogated him, the press service of the Investigation Committee reports. His condition is satisfactory. Local inhabitants who witnessed the crash have also been interrogated together with the technical staff of the air base and representatives of flight control group.
Specialists from the Ministry of Defence are working with the flight recorder found on the spot now.
